The enjoyment factor is not there and they struggle with the traditional plan-shapes ,and basically have a shocker of a surf as adjusting between short and longer boards can be frustrating.We imported the ALIEN high performance fish, ”feeling” into a step up board for the more solid days. Something that will hold, paddle well and still fit in the pocket..
In simple go longer , marginally narrower in width and lessen the thickness. What you have is the USC ALIEN STEP UP…For the longer winter swells or Indo sojourn..
